The High Court in Telangana on Tuesday dismissed the plea filed by the BC leader Jajula Srinivas Goud against the allocation of BC reservations in local body elections. Srinivas Goud in his plea alleged that the reservation provided to the backward classes BC is less than the recommended 34 per cent and appealed to cancel the elections. But Highcourt dismissed his petition.
